CCleaner now supports the release of new features still in development to a limited audience for testing. Fixed a bug where cleaning Firefox Internet History would corrupt the profile. 
Fixed cleaning of Edge cookies in Windows 10. This workaround is temporary while we consider a more permanent solution. Added workaround for cleaning Edge while in the ‘suspended’ state on Windows 10, build 1809. Fixed Firefox cleaning rules which were causing corrupted profiles for some users. Extended the cleaning of Windows error reporting temporary folders. Added and improved cleaning to the Common Language Runtime (CLR) folders. In this release, we’ve improved Windows Log Cleaning and Firefox cleaning. Automatic product updates are now enabled for anyone upgrading to CCleaner Professional (these can be disabled in the ‘Updates’ menu). Added new settings to control important updates and their notifications. Replaced ‘Enable silent background updates’ setting with separate settings for automatic product updates and product update notifications. Moved ‘Inform me of updates to CCleaner’ setting to the ‘Updates’ menu. It will soon work with 200 additional apps, as further updates are provided throughout the year.ĬCleaner 6.0 Free includes even more powerful cleaning definitions for Windows, Google programs, Apple programs, and the gaming platform Steam, which allows the user to free up space, and help make PCs run more smoothly.
